 A blossom-like anemone (Cerianthus sp.) delivers potent stings with the slender tentacles that encircle its mouth. Related to jellyfish and corals, the ten-inch-wide tube-bodied animal feeds on small invertebrates and fish. Yet somehow a cloud of oppossum shrimp (order Mysidacea) seem to thrive among its deadly stingers. |
